      They fit!!!

In my quest for better brakes on my 63 nova, I decided to try to see if the LS1 caliper swap would work. It is necessary to turn down the hub and machine the spindle, just like you would if you were doing it to a 1st gen camaro, but it does fit. I still have a lot more work to do getting lines to fit etc, but here is a mock up picture!

Thanks Vince, once I get the whole system together and do a little driving I will post the entire process (I am doing the 93-97 f-body rears on it also).
Obviously you need to start with swaping in 5 lug spindles and hubs for the 62-63 Novas. My 5 Lug swap turned into adding disc brakes and putting a V8 in.

I do need some advice. I want to run an E-brake but the car is a console car and I do not want to cut up the console, does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have room to put it on the floor between the left side of the drivers seat and the sill? Kinda like an old Porsche.

Damn True, do you have a picture of the setup you are suggesting?

      Thanks,
