Goodguys Lone Star Nationals Sponsor Recap

It is difficult at times to cover events we do not attend, but that is when we turn to our sponsors who help provide complete recaps for all to see. The Goodguys Texas event features one of the biggest autocross tracks of the year. The space allows for a long and fast track, testing the racers skills while they try to beat out their competition. There are four classes at a Goodguys Autocross:

Pro Class
Street Machine Class
Truck Class
Hot Rod Class

There are a handful of drivers that are automatically inducted into the Pro Class, though the majority of them earn their way by winning one of the other classes throughout the year. Advancing into the pro class doesn't stop there. The final battle between drivers all comes down to the Goodguys Scottsdale Autocross Shootout; one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Josh Leisinger has had a lot of seat time this year and it definitely showed once again at this event. After winning Holley LS Fest, Leisinger has been unstoppable. Leisinger took home first in the pro class and won the overall event. He also landed a spot right underneath Kyle Tucker, placing second on the overall points list going into the Autocross Shootout next month.

We wanted to share another post from RideTech of something you wouldn't normally see at a Goodguys Autocross. Though this was probably this driver's first and last autocross due to safety concerns, we were very impressed that RideTech was able to capture this chain of events:
