I'm liking the G-body build. I really like the rear frame rail relocation for tubbing! Keep us posted, please.

Here is a little update on the Malibu project. Here is the custom tank that was drawn up by my dad and fabricated by a local sheet metal shop.

Very cool!! Had a 79 Malibu Landau when I was 17(in 1988). Great stance and color!

Looks great! I'm interested in more shots of the interior if you have any...mainly the rear seat area and roll bar.

Car looks great! I've always been a big fan of Malibus. In high school (mid-90s) I almost bout a certain '79 3-4 times but the stars never aligned. Instead I drove an '83 Cutlass and was going to paint it a very similar color to that one.

Please more info on the frame! That's beautiful. Very nice craftsmanship.

What does your dad do? Seems like a talented guy especially if hes hotrodding with CAD software. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks for the positive feedback!

SSLance, I'll get some pics of the inside, roll bar and seat. I've just worked on the seat earlier this week, getting ready to have it covered soon, I hope.

Bonecrusher, I am going to paint it to match, I might put a gray partial wrap on the hood and trunk later. Looking forward to putting miles on it now.

Hopefully get some more pics pretty soon
