Thanks for the positive comments. The car weighs 3965 lbs with a 3/4 tank of gas and me in it I weigh about 170.

      The corner weights are
      LF - 978 RF - 958
      LR - 1000 RR - 1029

Everyone told me it was going to weigh 4500 lbs when I was done. No one realized how much I cut out of the car, I figured it would be about the same as before I did this, which it is. As far as the balance I was very surprised as well I didn't expect it would be that good. Not sure if I mentioned earlier but the engine is set back 6 inches, also the front tires pushed forward almost 2 inches and the rear is moved forward 1 inch from factory locations. After the car was lowered so much I did this to make the tires look right in the wheel wells. All this helps to get the weight to the back of the car.

Great build! You have the skills to build a car from idea to to runner. What next? A new exotic maybe? Electric power? Good luck to you in your future projects.

This is a crazy build! I love it!

Did you leave all that MDF in the door panel that you used to shape it after glassing? Who did the upholstery (I cant find anyone to do any type of covering on panels they didnt build)? How did you attach the panel to the door?

I have so many questions lol.

I shaped the mdf and then glassed over it to smooth it out, As far as upholstery shops I would look for someone who specializes in customs/ hot rod interiors don't go to a regular upholstery shop and expect them to be able to do this type of work, I tried that and it ended up costing me more in the long run to get it right not to mention 14 months of time to get it done

Thanks for answering my question. If you would share the contact info for the place you had do your upholstery I would appreciate it. Im in a small area where no one will work with me on this stuff.

Are you concerned about the weight of the door panel? Or is it not as heavy as it looks?

Sorry, last question - did you use resin to fill in the small gaps between the wood or did you stuff it with mat and resin?
