      LS7 install help please

Ok, I've researched this to death, and still cant figure out the proper 'combination' for mounting the engine & trans
There are so many kits out there, but each seems to have their own 'quirks'

My set up ... LS7, T56 Magnum into 69' camaro, stock subframe, Lee 670 PS box

Can some one please suggest a fail safe combo that will work:
Which frame stands (small block ?):
      Poly mounts:
Which engine stands... Dirty Dingo (sliders or 3D ?):
      Trans X member (speedtech adjustable/Holley?):

      Thanks
      Steve

      Steve,

If you have a real LS7 (with dry sump) you will have major issues using the stock subframe. The LS7 dry sump pan doesn't come anywhere close to working with the Camaro rear steer system. If your LS7 has been converted to a wet sump system, then I would recommend using the new Holley swap components, as they designed to work together.

I think this pan will solve your problems with the stock subframe:

We also use the ATS Speedtech pan for LS7's in the 1st gens, for the reasons Andrew said. On the most recent project we did, we used standard Energy Suspension mounts and LS adapter plates from TransDapt with no setback. Ours had a rear steer rack & pinion so we used Speedtech/Stainless works headers designed for that.

      Great Info guys ...
So yes, Manny has switched the LS7 over to a wet sump ... but I do not believe that he has selected the oil pan yet. So to confirm, going with the Speedtech ATC road race oil pan below is the best solution and going with the entire Holley engine mount kit, as I believe the Holley setup places the engine a little ways back ?

Also, if I'm going with the speedtech pan, and I'm pretty much set on the adjustable X member, would it be a wise choice to get the LS adapter plates from them as well ?

      Thanks again

OK, forgot to follow up, which frame stands do I need, I'm running a BBC right now and I assume these will be too tall ?

      Thanks
