      It seems like most anything can be made to fit, but I kind of agree with the above in that the original is pretty cool. If it were me I'd just try to modernize the current dash, say by getting rid of the hideous wood, maybe vinyl wrap it or have some anodized aluminum made to cover it. After that it would be a fairly painless process to modernize the rest of the interior with better gauges, seats, etc.
      Some guy here did put a gto dash in his firebird, looks cool but was tons of work.
