Thanks Jim! Is your car a street/strip car?

Yes it is more street/strip but I'm moving towards the Pro-Touring end of the spectrum with some pending upgrades. The only reason I stayed with the TH400 was that nobody at that time would guarantee an overdrive transmission at my power levels. Now it's commonplace. If I had it to do all over again, I'd go 4L80e with the GV overdrive and steeper rear gears but I love my Summit-sourced Hughes to much to change it out now.

I'm interested to see how your current converter performs in an autoX/pro-tour arena. How much stall does it have? Do you plan to change it?

1964 Bonneville, street sleeper meant to look like a vintage sixtys build..

462, 450 hp 500+ torque... Turbo 400 built by Cliff Ruggles, its the transmission used in the photos of his new TH-400 book..

2.56 posi, with CK performance 2.75 first gear set, Continental 13" converter shifted by a vintage Hurst Autostick I shifter.. Trans Go shift kit set to hold all gears as long as I want..
