      Newbie (kinda) from Ohio

      Hey all,

I think this may be my first or 2nd post on the forum. I've been around cars my entire life, having been raised in a MOPAR family, hence my username and avatar.

At the moment, I don't have a car or even a project as I'm a Mechanical Engineering student just trying to get by until I get my degree.

I tend to do a lot more reading than posting, because I like to absorb everything that I see, but I may chime in from time to time.

I've gone to car shows my entire life, literally, and while the Woodward Dream Cruise is my favorite, heading back for the 20th anniversary this year, I was absolutely blown away by the Good-guys PPG Nationals in Columbus a couple weeks ago. Watching the sponsor cars for DSE and ridetech and others rip up the autocross track affirmed my future plans to build a pro-touring style MOPAR.

Anyways, hopefully I can continue to learn more about these styles of cars and asking questions where appropriate, and hopefully in the not too distant future, I'll be able to do my own build thread.

Thanks for the kind welcome, guys. Much appreciated.

Sweet 1970 Road Runner, LemonTwisted. I'm partial to 1968s myself, I have an odd liking for first year cars.

I just checked out your site, Smittys. It looks like you guys build some pretty badass cars.

Like I said, I hope to learn a lot more from the people here, and just absorb ideas for whenever I get the opportunity to build a car for myself.
