      Battery connections

What's the best way to connect the Power leads -ECU, fuel pump - to a Side Post battery? Is there some kind of Connector(s) that can be used? What about Fuses or Relays to protect the ECU and Fuel Pump? I've found a Side Post type connector that'll work for at least one wire but I'd like to do it right.

I've used something similar to this with good results.

And this to convert the terminals.

      Hey Larry,
There are all kinds of power strips and power blocks out there. I like the distribution blocks the 4th gen F-bodies used. You can order these brand new from a dealer or pick them up for a couple bucks at a yard.

There is a lot of room for power take-offs in these blocks.

I also use ones from Del City.

To get power to the block run at least an 8ga. wire from the battery to the block. I would also suggest you think about powering this block through a big relay (70amps at least) that will supply power only with the ignition in the on position. That way all of these wires are only hot when the ignition is on and the car is running.
Follow the directions for your components when wiring them in. ALWAYS fuse them accordingly and using relays is a good thing.

I have been using these on my builds. On a first gen I mount them between the batter & fender, on the inner fender. I also use AAW harnesses that have provisions for lots of acc. I run the computer leads to the AAW, and use the junction block for A/C, electric fans, etc.
