Hotchkis connectors with DSE subframe issues

I just received me DSE subframe and started to connect it to my 68 Camaro that already had the Hotchkis subframe connectors but ran into a problem. Hotchkis uses a smaller rubber bushing and I have Speedtech's solid mounts. The problem is that the hole in the subframe connector is too small for the solid mount to go through and I'm trying to troubleshoot it. The rear of the connector is welded in so removing the connector completely is out. Has anyone else used Hotchkis SF Connectors with a DSE setup? How did you get around this problem? I'll try to post some pictures to hopefully better explain it.
