We're using one in my wife's Chevelle wagon and it works great. Give Sparky a call and talk about your needs.

Well, I don't know about specifically what was done or not in your situation, but I have been building cooling systems for 16 years now for everything under the sun. While I like RD and Be Cool radiators and such, I have no problems with the Northern line of race radiators I stock-and, I ALWAYS prefer to use OEM style fan shrouds and assemblies. I install new motors and build my own relay control harnesses. I also keep a full line of cooling related bypass kits, threaded t-stat housings, bypass t-stat spacer plates, etc. and a complete line of Delphi wiring and connectors for just about anything.

Sometimes us regular members can do as much or more than the big guys just because they may be swamped with work. Anyway, here is a pic of a radiator/LT1 fan kit with a 3 speed relay control harness installed and ready to go for a 1978 Z28 for a guy in Israel. Cost to him is $630 shipped to give ya an idea. I am always available to help other members out if you need advice or options.
