      Carbon build up

Ok. I took my intake off my 5.3. How do I clean all the carbon build up off my intake ports in my heads. Plastic scarper maybe? Not doing a rebuild right now, I just want to clean it a little and add new plugs, oil, and filters.

      Carbon build up

I used an aerosol cleaner specific for carbon build up to free a sticking throttle on the daily driver. I would think you could use that on a rag to wipe it down. Or place a rag in the runners then blast away straight from the aerosol can.

stiff tooth brush and some sea foam works nice. Soaking a rag in sea foam or any other cleaner like bret said would also be good since you could then let it soak into the build up for a while
