      Newbie in Seattle

Just thought I'd introduce my self to the group from up here in rainy Seattle. I've got a daily driven (and I mean EVERY day) 68 Rally Sport with lots of brake and suspension mods - still the worst handling and braking car I've driven in the past 20 years. Looking to take the next steps to make this baby handle and brake with the wife's Highlander.

Looking forward to all the great input I've seen on the site so far.

The hood and rear Trans Am spoiler (narrowed) are from Year One. I was channeling Year One's "Innovator" project car.

Current suspension, steering, and brake specs are as follows:

      Suspension:

DSE upper control arms, Delrin bushings (all arms), tie rod adjusters
      Hotchkis rear springs
Global West 500 lb front springs
      Edelbrock IAS shocks
      Cal-Tracs bars
      Bolt-in sub frame connectors (welded)
      Polyurethane bushings elsewhere

      Steering:

Lee Manufacturing quick ratio power steering box
      New stock idler, pitman arms

      Brakes:

1970 Nova single piston disks (11" rotors)
Master Power "big" rear drum brakes

Nice car, I don't think I've ever seen that running around.

Welcome to the site, Grijo (is that your name?)?

I'd think we'd probably be able to get your car to the point where your car might possibly even out-handle and maybe even out-brake your wife's SUV.

Cool! Another Emerald City dweller! Welcome. I know I haven't seen your car around (not that I really get out that much), or I'd have hunted you down to check it out. Anyway, it looks fantastic, and that's coming from a Mustang guy. Hopefully we'll pass each other on our daily commutes once I get my Mach done.

Grijo Grisan is my "Star Wars" name (ask your kids). I get out to Pacific Raceway from time to time, usually to test out whatever engine mod/repair I've made. Don't like to go as much as I used to. I"m too nervous now about breaking my 700-R4 or 10 bolt rear, both of which have failed more than once.
