      335/40-17 tires?

Anyone know if they make a 315 or 325 or 335/40-17 street tire. (40 is the problem)
      thanks

I was going to mention to you to be aware that tire selection in a 17" is getting thin when you showed your wheel plans. Even 18's are getting less and less. I cant even know where to start for 17's, 335/35/17 is pretty much it at about $500 a pop. Is it to late to go with 18 or 19's?

315-35-17 is a normal size, although only the Corvettes used it OEM and the size is going away. 335-35-17 was for the early Vipers, but is now extinct.

Essentially anything wider than a 285 in 17" is a hard size to find. Maybe one of the drag race brands - Mickey Thompson, M&H?

I had planned all along to use Pirelli 335/35-17 which are 26.1 tall and have a 4.60 sidewall, But I thought if I could get a 325/40 and get about 27 inches tall it would give me a little more sidewall to help the illusion of being more like the original hubcap and wheel. The front wheels will also be Pirelli 255/45-17 And they are the same 26.1 inches tall as the back tires. I like the idea of the front and back tires being the same size.
      Thank you!
