      alignment tips please

      hey gents,

need a few tips to dial in my alignment and square everything up.
      I have a 68 charger with magnumforce k member and 4 link
the UCA and LCA's are adjustable in everyway known to man, (in, out, up, down, forward, back, upto 9* caster, upto 6* camber, and toe in and out)
and the 4 link is a unequal 4 link adjustable in, out, pinion up and down and side to side.

I got the front end perfectly setup the other day with 7* caster and -1/2* camber with 0 toe as I have 100% 0 bumpsteer.

I start to line the rear end up from plumb bobbing marks down to the floor front the lower ball joints on the front on each side and wondering why im 8mm out on passenger side. so I measured from door jamb to centre of spindle on both sides and found my passenger side 8mm different to driver side. I guess I am going to have to work on the front passenger some more and then try squaring up my rear end.

My question is, is there an informative way or some tips people can share on how they have lined up there rear end, I have read the longacre instructions but being a 68 charger which is a uni body the only real thing I have to string off is the subframe connectors which were added by the previous owner and I have no idea if they are square.

      anyone?

      thanks

If the pan is original, the body plug holes are symmetrical. The torsion bar holes at the crossmember are usually where I measure to square front and back. Are you 8mm straight back or are you skewed left or right?

Mopars are never square in the quarter openings. One wheel always seems to end up closer or further back than the other. The quarters were just "off".

I'd do an "X" measurement from the rear end housing to the torsion bar crossmember hexes and then square the "K" to the rear end. By having a square Mopar your going to end up with a wheel slightly off centered than the other, but like a pin striper once told me, "you can't look at two sides at once".
