Hello my name is tim i live in the beautiful state of alabama. I own a 1969 sport coupe camaro other than the engine it is bone stock.i am looking to upgrade to disk brakes and a set of bad ass wheels for it. Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to go bout it. Should i do brakes first then find wheels or will it matter or not about the drum brakes with custom wheels?

It depends, I am in a similar predicament. I suggest you gather some ideas about brakes and wheels at the same time to make sure they work together. I would suggest c5 brakes or gen 4 camaro v8 brakes. Just what I think.

My first question is why is this posted in the classified section....should be in suspension, wheels...etc. Now to answer the question..get the brakes then you know what size wheels you will need

^ this. Decide what brake system you want to use (also depending how you want to use the car), then get wheels based on that. To me, having 18" custom wheels with stock drums behind just look weird.
