Opinions on valve spring selection
I am installing a Crane hydraulic roller, 240/248'@.050" .621"/.632" in a 540 BBC. Crane recommends a spring with 150lbs of seat and 465lbs of open pressure at the standard 1.9" BBC installed height.
These pressures seem like solid roller range to me. I thought Hyraulic roller in that range would need 390 or so lbs over the nose?
