      More Headroom Via Headliner

Is there any way to gain headroom using a different headliner? I'm 6-3 and its pretty tight in my 1st gen. With a helmet there is no way. I like the height of the seats and don't really want to lower them.

I've seen some 1 piece aftermarket units, but do they increase headroom? I can feel that there is an extra inch or more above the original headliner, I just want to utilize it. I've thought about removing it altogether but I'm sure that will look like hell. I just want one that tucks closer to the roof.

Yeah, I had to lower my seat, felt a little strange at first, it has been a few months now and I never even think about it anymore.

I have my seats lowered as much as possible without cutting into the welded in seat mount on the floor. I know there is more room above the headliner, I just want to find a way to utilize it.
