Need Ideas - 2010 Console TC Button

Alright guys, Im in the process of installing a 2010 camaro console in my 67' including the e-brake.
I'm trying to come up with a cool use for the traction control button.
The best thing I've been able to come up with so far is to use it as a clutch/neutral safety switch so that it would have to be pressed when the key is turned for the starter to work.
It would be kind of a security thing but it just might be awkward to use.
The switch is non-locking so it only works when pressed.
      Any ideas?

Yeah, that would be awkward, you'd have to reach across with your left hand to push the button while turning the ignition with your right. I'm doing the same install so I'll be watching to see what you come up with. Best of Luck!!

I'm pretty sure that is a MUX or BUS switch. It's not designed to handle amperage.

I like the ejector seat idea but knowing my kids they would be using it to shoot eachother over the house.

I figured I would probably have to have a relay in there somewhere.

Put a traction control unit on the car and make it functional?

You could use several relays and make it a momentary switch to get the fuel pump going, and continue self stimulating the circuit until you turn the car off.

i would rather use it as a starter kill though.

Not all the answers here, but plenty of ideas:

Traction controll would be too easy and way too obvious.

How about an ignition kill so you can spin the motor and not fire until oil pressure is present.

not exactly answering your question here, but if you can match the paint on the button, you could paint over it then go to a place that does laser engraving and have them etch another icon there.

another option, since it's abs is to just graft in a filler piece and delete the button all together.

i did something similar for my corvette a while back in order to get a smooth surface to graft a tapered pipe reducer smoothly:

      cup holder delete:

final result after grafting in an abs pipe reduction fitting:

if you want to go that route, let me know and i can walk you through the process
