      Ricks tank and fuel starvation

Finally got my first chance to do take the car out on a road course at last weekends Midwest Musclecar Challenge. I have a Ricks stainless tank ('68 Camaro). I started out the day with a full tank of gas. First 20 min. session fuel delivery was fine (ran through approx. 1/4 or just over a tank during that session). 2nd session started with me having around 3/4 tank (gauge could be off a bit but had at least 5/8 tank). First lap was ok then started popping when coming out of a hard right hander. Didn't have the issue on left handers. I figured I'd be able to go down to at least 1/2 tank before having starvation issues. Any thoughts or simple fixes than can be done? Or is this normal? Not a big deal to top it off after every session but seems that shouldn't need to be necessary.

It was nice meeting you over the weekend. I would call Rick's. I had some issues a long time ago with my car. There tech support was great. They helped me get it fixed. Check your fuel vent to make sure the tank is venting properly.

Eric, nice meeting you. I'll give them a call.

Mark, I'll have to check into that. Maybe a winter project.

      Buddy,

Try giving Rick's a call. Hector may be able to help, but likely the fix won't be "easy".

Your troubles are the reason for vaporworx. This may be an option for you and cures the problems you're having. http://vaporworx.com/retroworx_kit.htm
