      Driver side sag

There is about a 1" drivers side sag on my 69 camaro. Could it be anything else besides a weak spring? I dont know anything about suspension to know what to look for?

Seems like I run across another forum with guys talking about their front springs not being oriented in the coil buckets/pockets or lower control arms correctly, causing the front suspension to "unload" weight from the opposing corner. "Raising" that corner... Obviously, our cars are 40+ years old and there's no telling who has beat on them and what has been done to them. If they're stock springs, it's a very good chance that they're worn and have begun to sag. Especially the driver side showing the sag! If they're aftermarket, it could be something simple as you torqueing or "over" torqueing one side more than the other or without the weight of the car on the springs.

Now, to the worst case scenario...

My car was showing a sag on the driver side but actually, it was the passenger side sitting higher. After further inspection I found a bent rear spring... That led me to check the car for further damage... Evidentley, my car had been hit in the right rear and some JACKLEG had done some bogus repair job. Crappy thing is, they repaired the quarter panel and it looks decent but they never pulled or repaired the frame. It was all out of whack on the passenger side behind the wheel arch, causing the passenger side to sit a shade higher.

      Good luck!
