That stripe is from the 67/68 Mustang Transam racing series. It was found mostly on the coupes. The fastbacks usually had the double LaMans style stripes. As for suspension, the front is CPP with a 1" lowered coil and a 1" Shelby drop on the upper control arm. Love this set up! The rear is just a sway bar on lowered leafs.

Very nice, I did'nt know that, that's cool! I like that you are inspired by the different racing styles and adding this to your cars.. It's amazing that it does'nt need more than that to get such a perfect stance, looks killer!

Taking advantage of all the space and setting the grill back to the rad support for a more aggressive appearance.

A Shelby touch with the tail lights. Making a tail light panel to house the lights.

Thanks for the interest. I am still test fitting and then ultimately fastening them on. Going to be a couple of months. Just so you are aware, they were designed to work with the new rear trunk and rear lower valance. It won't work with stock the set up. If that works for you let me know.

Messing around with some tail light ideas. Heat forming some lens material to get a more updated look to go with the LED bulbs I ordered.

They were too futuristic looking to me. They made the 71 tail pan unrecognizable at a glance and that's not what I'm after. I want the car to have the look of being injected with growth hormones and be a beefier version of a Mach 1 - not a complete sex change lol. Ok they weren't that bad but I always liked the stock light. I just feel like leaving them completely untouched isn't addressing a key feature.

Agreed. Much prefer what you are doing here. The way it is going people will look and think that as cool as these cars were when they came from the factory that THIS is how they all should have looked.

The black/ angel eyes headlights i ordered came in and so has the last of my fibreglass pieces, the grill surround so i put them both in. Once i black out the grill surround the lights should blend right in. A little before and after of stock vs my changes

You should probably consider doing a retrofit on those headlights. the output on that style housing is very poor

Are you talking about the center bulb or the halo? Any suggestions?

Size: 153.6 KBFathers day gift to myself is to drop in my newly built, nasty little 347 and enjoy the look of it in my car and check out the new ride hight with the new dropped tubular control arms and drop springs. I also want to mock up my ram air set up and engine bay cover plates to clean up the overall appearance.

The front of your motor is so beautiful you may want to shorten that cover a bit? Anyway, I'm sure what you do will be right given the job done so far.
