Larger oil filter
Recently installed a LS3/525 into a 1980 Porsche 928. Installed a custom oil pan and along with the tiny recommended oil filter, it now holds 6 quarts of engine oil. Engine bay has the room and would like to run a physically longer oil filter to increase capacity. Looking for a part # for a K&N or ? TIA. T

Real clean and great looking install!!
you may want to post whatt brand / model remote oil filter adapter you have as well as your currently oil filter brand & part # ??
with it "removed" from the engine, the "LS3/525" application, doesn't come in to play really

Thanks Jeff, Now running the stock LS3 filter at this time. Did some digging on the internet. The larger replacement oil filters P/N's for the LS3 are the following: K&N: HP-2006, Mobil 1: M1-206, Wix: 51522, and Purolator: PL25288. The OEM LS3 oil filters are 3.4" in length and the filters above are approx 4.7" in length. T
