I know this won't be a surprise but reassembling without any snafus is a talent that may only be acquired by exp. I'm the only person in my shop so I only have to be upset with myself. Good luck!

This hood has been a pain in the a$$! First time I tried to paint it I found a bodywork blemish that I missed. After fixing the bodywork, I tried for the 2nd time to paint the hood only to have reaction between the sealer and basecoat that crinkled paint. So once again I blocked sanded, primed and blocked sanded again :-( The 3rd time turn out to be the charm as the hood sprayed out great. The body is next!
      Thanks

The reflection of the plastic sheeting threw me off. I was like, "the paint still looks weird..." then I realized what it was. lol

Please refresh my memory. What are you using for mufflers? Did the drivetrain get test fired and I forgot?

Other than the headers, the exhaust is one of the few things I have yet to make. Pretty sure I’ll be using TTI exhaust but I’m not sure which mufflers. The Car will also have electric exhaust cut outs just in case some loud sub woofer with wheels pulls up beside me ;-)

The engine has about an hour of time on the dino but has yet to run in the car.
      Thanks

It came out Sweet Pat. Too bad it took you the long way to get to that nice finish. Are you making the boat show rounds this year?

Pat, I'm well aware of exhaust sound tastes but I wanted to tell you about this in case you haven't heard them. A few years ago my friend installed a Mufflex setup on his Ram with a 5.7. I really liked the sound of it going down the street. I believe this setup uses Magnaflow mufflers but I don't know which series. Here's a link to a sample video.

What an amazing build! I've picked up so many tips from this one thread I can't even count them all. Your attention to detail and step by step for things is greatly appreciated! I have always wondered how people would weld in a patch panel and when the piece is finished off it looks like new.
