      Hi Pat,
So the slabs for the lift have a 6" wide "key" on all sides? Very clever! BTW digging the "Big Ass Fan"!

We are registered for the HotRod power tour this June. Kurt in his Bullitt Mustang and me in the Bullitt Charger. I’m excited to hit the open road with both car! It will be about 2800 miles round trip. It’s been about 9 years since going on the tour with Kurt’s Mustang.
      Thanks
      Pat

That's great news. And great pics. I'm so happy that you get to drive the car and see how you did. I'm curious about what kind of comments you will receive. Not everybody has seen the build thread.

New shop update. The power is on, floors are polished and sealed, lift is installed, wall cabinets installed, and the heat/air system up and running! I will be installing the base cabinets this weekend. Should be ready for my car projects soon!
      Thanks
      Pat

Looks great. The only things missing are my lathe, mill, welder, sheet metal equipment and me. I'm guessing you have 12' sidewalls so that makes the windows 8' high or there abouts?

Just finished reading the May issue of the Mopar Collector Guide and got a cool surprise. On the second to the last page they tell you what’s coming up in the next issue. I see a picture of my car on the top right hand corner with the caption Modernized Bullitt 1968 Charger tribute car. Looking forward to the next issue;-)
      Thanks
      Pat

It will be interesting to see if they uncover the secrets in the car.

Shop update, All cabinet and countertops are installed. I labeled each cabinet & drawer in alphabetical order using car emblems. The 3 tool cabinets I used engine displacement emblems from Pontiac, Dodge, & Ford. I’m not sure if it will help me remember where stuff is, but I think it looks cool;-)
      Thanks

I like it! For those of you who listen to Hot Rod Radio with Wings Callahan, he refers to the studios as ss396, olds 442, etc. "Go to the 289 and get a 9/16" tappet wrench", please. I need a deep socket. They are in the 426 hemi because of how deep the spark plug tubes are. Women personalize a house. Why shouldn't someone personalize their shop? If your shop makes you smile every time you walk in, you hit a homerun.

Love your garage............like the cars as well. A Mopar friend of mine that built a garage for his collection has some neon signs custom made from some guy overseas.
