QA1 spring question

I finished a build on a 65 gto that was started by my brother, his intention was to lower the car MUCH more than I ended up actually doing. I used a set of CPP 2" drop spindles,QA1 coil overs, Global West control arm set. I believe the spring itself is to short because to get the ride height I want I need to tighten the bottom perch way up. Could someone recommend a spring height and rate that would work out good for "sport handling". I do not autocross this vehicle.The car is running an 02 LS1. I currently am running 16" Rallye II rims but I will be getting some 18"s shortly.(another question about those in rims and tires) any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
