      Suspension & Pinion Angle Help

I have a 1970 Camaro with a 4 link in the rear and coil overs all around. The car rides very well, but the tranny or rear makes alot of noise when you are driving and with the windows up its pretty loud. I'm not getting a vibration as if my pinion is way off, but was hoping I could find a person or a shop that could help me look at it and dial it in. I'm in northern california. Thanks

What is the angle at the yoke and at the pinion?

I have the same issue. Shop that built rear says it is the gears since they are strange race gears. Want me to switch to GM or Precision Gears.

Same here when I coast in 3rd and 4th gear. At least my issue isn't unique.

I have 500 miles on mine, so I think its not that they arent broken in yet. Can't believe they would be that loud.

most of todays gears are made over seas and make more noise than what was normal when gears were made in usa.
if you have suspension that uses spherical bearings instead of rubber or polyurethane it will transmit a lot more gear noise.
the talk of race gears being noisy is wrong. its an excuse for poor gear design. what will be stronger and use less power. perfectly meshing gears that are quiet or gears that are make noise from having low production tolerances or poor teeth shape design?
sad thing is we live in a walmart world and quality is not really an option any more.
