      Used RT Shockwaves, worth it?

I have a buddy who is dismantling his ridetech system and upgrading to the higher end series of shockwaves up front. He offered to sell me his front Masterseries single adjustables that will fit my Chevelle. He has a 70, I have 72. They are $900 new and never seem to go on sale. He said he would go about $450. Is this a decent deal or are used shockwaves something to avoid? What do you all think?

Sorry, I just now saw this.

Depending on the condition and age, $450 may not be a bad deal. If you want, you're welcome to send me some pictures so I can help you identify the age and what you have. My email address is [email protected].

Just emailed you. He sold the fronts before I could get back to him but has the rears still.
      Thanks
