      Never been a Ford guy.....but....

I've only recently....ok well 3 years ago....bought my first Ford. FX4 extended cab truck. And since that time my eyes seem to be more open to the Ford products of today....and yesteryear. Here is a dandy I ran across the other day. It actually seems to be authentic. The guys has documentation certifying the cars authenticity by the director of Ford for 2013. Kind of neat. I never knew they existed until now. Supposedly 1198 of them ever built. And this one is one of two with a console. And the only one with AM radio. 1969 Cobra. 428 Cobra Jet engine with 4 speed. Bucket seats with console. I may take the plunge again. This one wont get cut up though. Lol.

Kinda looks like Fords version of a Dodge Charger. Ive never seen one of these before.

I haven't either. I love this car. I have been looking at an all original 66 427 4 speed Corvette in decent unrestored shape, but now I'm thinking I really like this machine.

Oh Yeah, that's a nice one. I've seen a couple over the years. How original is it? Do they have a Marti Report for it? They are well worth the money, before you spend big bucks on any Ford.

I know you guys are young! lol. I had a friend back in '72 that had one of these. I really liked it back then and the one you have is pretty good looking too. His could be this one's twin. And run like there's no tomorrow. Very nice find. I wouldn't mind having one and I'm a Camaro guy.

I pretty much would cut up anything, and think totally stock is boring. But this one's a stunner, I wouldn't even think of changing the wheels.

I can tell you from experience it's not easy to find body parts for these cars! But they get lots of looks at car shows because they're not Mustangs!

Now that's a cool car!! I prefer to modify them as well but I think this would be a good one to leave alone..

Cool car, I am mostly a Buick person. But marrying a Ford person changed that and actually like the newer Fords over the GMs mundane looks. I think I have owned more Fords than GMs now. currently 2 of each. I guess that almost 29 years of marriage may do that. LOL
