Such a cool little truck, I haven't seen one around here for years, let alone any Datsun, of any type..

Thanks Dave. I'm on another forum for datsuns and they seem to be abundant on the west coast, but in the south they are as rare as hens teeth.

In the north, they don't exist. Last one I can remember seeing was a tubbed one in the late 80s, that was in a shop across from the Ford dealership I worked at.

The man that had this one had 7-8 around in a field but was bad rough. The cab on this one has a pinhole rust through spot, but the bed was toast from him hauling fertilize in it.

I had a 72 Toyota Hilux I considered doing this to but ended up selling it off. Wish I still had it.
