I guess i am poor!!

well this morning i drove to a local car meet and i drive in noticing that most of the cars there where corvettes so i was like what the hell, ill bring mine , a 1993 40th anniversary edition , so was driving down and got in people where impressed by how it looked so i was pleased, so once i park it i see this cluster of guys in their 60's so they come over and start talking about the car and ask me to join their car club , i tell them id consider it , they say well if you are interested we meet at a country club , i say very well i will stop by some time , then he says don't be intimidated i am poor too.... , so lets see just because i am in my early 20's and don't dress in corvette attire, or wear gold chains or maybe because i actually drive my car instead of garage it , that makes me poor? i honestly thought this was a rude comment , is this what people mean that some corvette owners are *****s?
