      quick ratio steering 67 camaro

OK I have a 67 camaro that I am put tall tierod ends etc. On. When I was checking my steering turns lock to lock while car is jacked up and tie rods disconnected the steering wheel went slightly over 3 turns or right at 3 turns exactly. The box I have is a sweet manufacturing box with 12:1 ratio...my pitman arm is 5.25 long and I have stock drum brake steering arms. I have a 15" steering wheel. The car is very responsive or was with stock control arms and tie rod ends etc. I now have spec with tall ball joints etc. I am finishing up and was checking this to make sure my wheel is straight before connecting tie rods...does this seem like a lot of turns for a 12:1 ratio...I thought it would have less turns.
