      LS3 Corvette Fuel Rail Covers

I know that someone on here will be able to answer this question fairly simply. I just received a set of FRCs for the LS3 crate engine I ordered from GM. What are the p/n's for the other hardware I will need to install these covers? The engine did not come with any hardware on the valve cover's which would allow these FRCs to install. Right now they would only attached to the actual fuel rails and that is it. Thanks!!!!

      LS3 Corvette Fuel Rail Covers

The covers clip to the rails with a rubber piece and then press over one of the coil cover studs with a rubber boot that's in the cover. So there isn't any hardware unless you're looking for the rubber pieces. The dealer can look up the exploded view of the covers and get you the necessary rubber pieces- but they normally come with the covers....

ok....I was thinking there are some studs etc. that attached to the valve cover and then the FRC attached to the studs. Pictures are of the driver side of my engine.....dont see any studs long enough for the covers to attach too if your reasoning is correct. Maybe I am just missing the big picture on this....helpName: DSC01048.JPG

      LS3 Corvette Fuel Rail Covers

Have you tried clipping the covers on? They are pretty tight when attached to only the rails. Many aftermarket covers I've seen only use the fuel rail and not anything else.

I haven't tried just installing the FRC's by clipping to the fuel rail only. The FRCs I have are OEM and not aftermarket as well.

It may be different with the LS3 stuff, but there is extra hardware that was needed with my Vette LS2 covers. There is a post that screws into the valve cover that has a ball top that fits into a socket in the cover. I will try and find a P/N.
