      Motivated Rookie to the Group

Hello I am Rodney and I am excited about being a member of this group! I am looking forward sitting on some discussions about your protouring vehicles. At this point in pro-touring days I am rookie and I do not have much value added other than I love the entire concept of pro-touring vehicles. For this reason, so I will be soliciting alot of input for my upcoming build. I recently purchased my first potential pro-touring vehicle, it is a 1980 Firebird base model and it has already had some major mdification to it by the previous owner in which I got a pretty good deal. Some of the modification done was a LS1 engine and transmission swap for 4th GEN camaro. The car is solid with no rust and has the original paint from the maufacturer. The interior is also clean. So i have a pretty good starting point I think? My goal is to complete the build and turn it into something I can drive on regular bases and possibly do some autocrossing. Once I learn how to navigate and post picture through this sites I will share my car which I think has alot of potential. Thanks and I look forward to this wonderful experience!

      Motivated Rookie to the Group

Welcome to the group. There is an abundant amount of information stored in this site and a lot of good friendships to be made. I've been racing and cruising my T/A for a couple of years now and have yet to meet a better group of guys than these.
