Hey guys i'm on the way to go see a 1974 Javelin. It has a 727 trans but the owner says the transmission pump is out. 1) how can he tell the trans pump is out? Any tell tale signs its that and not something else? 2) With the pump being out could it have caused damage to other components of the transmission? Or is the pump a relatively straightforward and easy fix? Any info will be appreciated, you.
