II Much just sold for $150,000 not bad

Building cars or any project must be fun first. If not it turns into a job.

We build cars for the fun and enjoyment of it, it is a family time things.

So if the fun stops, the build stops.

Yeah... got a little scared when it stalled at $60K. Picked up nicely.

Guy lost $25K. Although it only sucks if he didn't have fun with it the few years that he owned it.

Don't know, but I am wondering if he's looking to adopt a gear head son...

Given the state if the economy over that time period a drop of just $25k has got to be viewed as a win. You'd be hard pressed to find another car that depreciated as little over the same period Id think.

Closer to 60k with fees on buying and selling.

If the car had been used for it's intended purpose and stayed "active" at events, I'll bet it would have brought more.

Yeah, once the car is on stage the owner can't touch the car again. That little move I did in 2009 to close the hood for them took special permission.

Who knew opening the hood would be difficult too?

I'm thrilled that this sale validated the first sale; now I know that $175K wasn't a fluke.
