      Tire size??

I've got a 68 chevelle with stock suspension. I got a set of 17x8 with 4.5 bs and 18x9.5 with 5 inch bs. What would be my best tire size without rubbing. I kinda like to go with a 45 series if possible.

Going by the wheel width only, you would want a 245 width tire in front and a 275 out back. 245-45-17 is a super popular size for the front. 275-35-18 or 275-40-18 will work in the rear. The 275-35 will be the same diameter as the front 245-45-17 tire, the 275-40 about 1" larger.

Thanks Paul I will look into getting those sizes. If anybody's already running these let me know if I'll have any problems.
