Pro-Touring App banner

This may be a really stupid question but I need some help. Normally when I'm in the PT site on my iPad I've got the PT App banner across the top of my screen prompting me if I want the PT App. That's fine and I just ignore it while I'm on here. BUT, somehow that banner has migrated across into my system and now it's across the top of my screen in all my internet windows that I have open. It's really annoying. Did I do something or has something changed. It has a X beside the PT button/picture but it doesn't work and I can't find a way to close it. Its only on Safari so I'm wondering if something has changed in the settings?

I fixed it by clearing all the cookies and and history out of my iPad. This is a pain as now all my auto log-ins are gone. Would still like to know if something has changed in the settings or was this just a one off freak out by my iPad.

OK this just keeps getting better. Now I have to log in every time I hit Today's Posts. WTF did I do?

Just an FYI that it's still doing it today. Not sure if it's something I did but I will try playing with configurations tonight.

My iPad is now doing similar things on other sites so it's not this sites settings. Somewhere in my efforts to rid my iPad of the PT App banner I've changed a setting that is making me have to log in almost every time I move around the site. Thanks for answering back.



Note:
If you ever run into this issue on an iPad it turned out that I had changed the "Block Cookie" settings to All from Third Party and that seemed to have not allowed the my password to be stored. So every time I went and clicked on New Posts it would make me log in again. Problem solved but it was frustrating while it happened and I still don't know why I had the PT App Banner on all my Safari Screens.
