      Speedtech Convertible '69 RS SS

We recently got a '69 Convert in the shop for an engine and suspension swap. It's almost done, we need to adjust the suspension, do an alignment, and a little bit of interior work to wrap things up. Thought I'd share a few photos and will post more "posed" pics when it's done.

The story is this car was bought at auction a few years back. Upon returning home the car got driven about 8 miles when the SBC grenaded. So much for a fully rebuilt car. The owner was so frustrated he just put it in storage. Over this past summer we built a '69 Camaro for his son, see below. That car became a mag cover car not long after it was finished. Dad liked our customer service, shop work, and products so he decided to dust off the 'Vert and bring it to us. We're glad he did, and we suspect the car is too .

We found several things wrong with it besides the bad engine, so we ended up swapping in our Track Time complete front and rear suspension package along with an LS2 backed by a 4L60 and a full custom stainless exhaust system. Enjoy the pics!
