      2nd Gen front clip info

Does anyone have a Martz Chassis or a Wayne Due front clip on their 2nd gen camaro? If so how much was it with options and what size rim/tire do you have. Any and all Technical data would be greatly appreciated and Pros/Cons for the subframes. I like the Martz set-up but i cant seem to get the info on size of the rim offest and tire size to put up front from them. Thanks!

      martz

I have the martz, will be a few years before i drive the car. Everybody i asked on the various message boards said to get the wayne due stuff, they were right i should have waited, he came out with the art morrison supplied chassis, and he does nice work. the martz chassis was not up to the caliber I thought it should be. I make some mods to it hopefully it will be ok. there were a few people that have it and are very happy. ( i should have sent it back). it was 5100.00 with the 6 piston willwoods, aldan coil overs, and the wide track with shipping. the stock trans crossmember would not fit, does not really matter building a custom one. chassis kind of flimsy(light) added some supports to it. for the time i have in to this it probably would have been better to go a different way. not to say maybe i rushed him and it was built on a friday or a monday he also uses an off the shelf napa rack that i could get at jobber cost( should of asked about it).

I haven't been around here recently but I chose a Wayne Due over the Martz front end. Let me tell you, it is a very nice front end and Wayne is great to work with. Hopefuly mine will be running this coming winter and I can give you driving impressions.

Wayne tells me my front was the first Morisson/Due set up buolt for a 2nd gen. You can see pics on my website.
