You really should throw the pictures up here for us to see why it's for sale for 18k...hard to ask for someone's opinion when you don't show us. I also believe you must post pics as per forum rules

"Dude" nobody asked for your opinion, this is the for sale section. If you don't think it's worth 18K fine, don't buy it! Your becoming historic for trying to cripple other people's sales.

Read the ad. It states let him know if the price is a little high or low. So the seller did ask for his opinion....

Thanks dhutton because yes he did ask for people's opinions.
Now gs455 I don't know where your basing the statement of me being historic for crushing sales, there was one..... One sale where I voiced my 2cent opinion of how I thought that the car may have been priced high and lowering the price would have possibly helped with the sale. Clearly in that one case I was wrong because the car was sold and I apologized for being wrong and all was good better the seller and myself. Having said all this I was actually going to direct both the seller and you to the before mentioned add for a comparable price and why I believe the price to be too high. Please don't label me like that he asked for people's opinions don't be mad if you don't agree or feel that the car isn't worth that much. It's really is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. So therefore I'm done with this thread
      Good luck with the sale

I want to apologise to raustinss (although somewhat backhanded I know). I did not read the entire post and went off half cocked due to a past post he made where I thought he was torpedoing guys sale. This was not the case here. I realize that I am not the forum police and was out of line here!!

This is the main reason I stick to selling my cars on ebay. So sick of people trash talking what I and others have worked hard for and they don't even have enough money in their savings account to buy it. Can I petition to the admins here to make the classifieds like jalopyjournal.com, where only the seller can post in the ad?
