      68 Z28 Convertible

I was sorting through some old pictures this past weekend and found a picture of this. It’s a 68 Z28 Convertible One of One ever made. I remember Steve (69LS1) had mentioned it in a previous post. My dad took this pic back in the early 90’s when he was in the Atlanta area.

From what I've read, it was produced for the wife of a top GM exec at the time.

I'd like to see how much that one fetches. One of only 'one'??!!!

I gotta think that's going north of 6 figures.

It was in the Chicago area until a coupe years ago. A gentleman in Michigan has it. Wasn't aware of him getting rid of it.

I think he had an offer of 1.2M and refused it a year ago. The worst part about the story on this car is all the documentation was stolen over a year ago. If it did not already have a huge pedigree and everyone knew about, know one would beleive it was real.

yes, all documents were stolen at the auburn auction last year. I was at the auction and got to see the car inperson, absolutly awesome car. I remember all the local newspapers had front page articles on the paperwork stolen. they said it was a black case that people prolly thought was cash and once they opened it...just tossed the stuff in a garbage somewhere......I never heard if the paperwork was ever found....
