      '70 Chevelle resto-mod project - recommendations requested

Hey guys, new member here. I just purchased a nicely restored to '70 Chevelle wagon and want to start a resto-mod conversion, including suspension, engine & drivetrain, tires/wheels & interior. The car will be a daily driver, but I'm seeking to maintain the classic Chevelle wagon styling, but with the handling and performance of a modern car. Make sense?

I'd appreciate any recommendations or experiences you can provide based on your own builds or ownership. The first step will be suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes and tire/wheels; to be completed within the next 90 days. Then a fuel-injected LS motor and 4 speed trans, & finally paint & interior.

      Here's what I'm looking at:

Suspension - DSE, Hotchkis, Ride Tech or Global West
      Brakes - Wilwood or Baer
      Engine - LS
      Trans - 700R4 or 4L60/80 series
      Tires/wheels - 17" or 18" 40/45 series
Paint - repaint to a gray with silver SS stripes on hood
Interior - modern gauge pack, floor shift, buckets, interior color change (black)

      Thanks, Gordon

Welcome...another a body awesome...call markus at sc&c he's a a body products for suspension, definitely go with the 4l60/email that granny came from the factory behind some ls1 motors zo they will be happy together. I'll second that on calling Tobin at kore3 they makes lots of brake kits which use modern corvette stuff (z06) brakes on that Wagon would be awesome
Good luck and don't forget the picture for those of us who can't read
