L92 vortec, aluminum block, rectangle port head (similar to LS3), variable valve timing. $1k is a steal.

Is your uncle in the mood to enlarge his family. My dad passed away last year and I could use a new one, and am available for adoption. I finish all my dinner and always keep my room clean. If he makes that good of a deal for a nephew I wonder what he will do for an adopted son.

Oh wait, I mean those are terrible motors. Only good as boat anchors or to be recycled into soda cans. But I can be there in a few hours to take it off your hands ;-)
Really, the only downside is the size of the trans. What's it going in?

it's going into a 1971 Camaro and I know I hear the 6l80es are huge but I'm gonna put some paddle shifters on that!
