12 inch wide, (18 inch tall) wheels

I'm fishing again for wheel ideas and am looking for an 18x12 wheel. I'd like a chrome TTII type 5 spoke wheel. I'd also like it be less than a grand $ a wheel (Colo Customs, Budniks, etc) unless you have an idea to get these more affordably. I could have the TTII (only available up to 18x10) with 3" BS widened 2 inches, but the backspace would then be an inch too great. I don't want to use wheels spacers or widen my rear end, so an 18X12 with 4" BS would be ideal. Any ideas?

Check out these guys. www.customrevolution.com . I'm getting my wheels from them and their prices are AWESEOME! All 18x12s are like $760. $900 less than what DS&E wanted for my set. They carry Bonspeed and Devious wheels.

      Cheers!

Thanks. $760 a piece? That's still a pretty big ouch when you consider nice 18x10's can be had for $325 a wheel.

True... but these are forged. They're in the same group as Budnik and the like as far as quality. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a forged wheel in an 18x12 that is less than $760... or even $500 for one that is not forged. Plus, if you got a $350 18x10, you would still have to factor in widening it.

Sorry to get your expectations down... I faced the same problem when DS&E told me $3300! BUT I did find Custom Revolution at a KO price.

      Hope you have luck,

Yeah, they do. They are the ones I ordered . There is a Devious wheel that is totally wicked, too.

The Intese 5's. I was looking for a 5-spoke.. and something intense. So... they worked out pretty well . If you look at Custom Revolution's site, the Devious Titains are pretty wicked. I don't know much about Devious, though.

      Cheers,
      Max
