      I agree brushed hoops and colored centers are the way to go, but I'm thinking a glossy black over a matte or satin black would look best. The tail pipe could be painted chassis black to blend it in or even someday it'll end up with grand national tips and the tailpipe would go away anyway.

      That really helps the visual though...thanks for spending the time to do that for me.

      i like them as they are or painted centers only. all black i hate. could you pc them in clear then keep the shiny wheels and have the pc protection.

      Well, the wife likes 'em shiny... And with all that she puts up with me and this hobby, I think I'll go her route on this for now.

      I think I'll polish them up real nice and clean and seal them up and try to run them like that for a while and see if it helps with the maintenance.
