Drive shaft question
I'm going to end up with a maximum of 55" length drive shaft with less than 400 hp. What do you recommend for diameter and wall thickness?

I'd consider a 3" by .095 a minimum for a 55" d/shaft. A 3.5" would raise the critical speed (better). Give Shaftmaster a call...they make a nice shaft at a reasonable price and can give you the straight scoop.
