      You could also have it left at the UPS depot and pick it up there.

      I have delivered plenty of packages for over 20 years. delivering packages to homes, I sorry that you lost you parts, but leaving them on the porch is not a good Idea .No matter the neighborhood. There always people out there with sticky fingers You should have tried to schedule a time when you been home ,ship it to your work,or picked it up from UPS yourself.

      It happened to me once with fedex also , someone took some race slicks that were delivered the same way. It took fedex a while, but i did get my slicks replaced. I stick to ups now fedex has lost two packages of mine , both being precision converters, one with insurance and the other i took a hit and only got 100 bucks of of them.

      I'm the opposite in that I like FedEx better than UPS - I'm biased today as UPS damaged some wheels that were delivered to me last week!
