      '69 Camaro Build - Seven

      Hey PT,

I've been on the site for maybe about a month. I finally am the owner of my dream car which I call Seven. I wasn't even looking for a car but stumbled upon a Craigslist ad Friday night browsing. The car was located 2 miles from my parents house. After leaving the Good Guys show in Pleasanton I made a call just to see if it was still there. It was but another guy was on the way, after offering $500 more a deal was made. Needless to say I got the car; I'm the 3rd owner, original black plates, only 69k original miles, AC car, complete numbers matching minus drivetrain. The owner had the car garaged for 6 years, already go the rust in the pans and rear valence replaced professionally. Decided to post the thread because I'm going to start the tear down process in a couple weeks. I'm sticking with a stock subframe, so once it's stripped down I will get it powdercoated and install the ridetech front suspension kit.

Nice, how much did you pay for it?

Took some interior shots. I put some rustoleum on the floors to prevent any possible damage before the rain comes. The dash and headliner has already been removed and checked for any signs of rust.

Good luck with your build! I started the customization of my 68 Firebird in about the same condition as your camaro is in. It's a lot of work, but very worth it!!

Thanks! I've built a street/strip nova with 434 sbc. But this build I'm doing a frame off and taking my time to do it right. I'll list my plans for the project shortly.

I installed a goodmark brake and clutch pedal assembly this weekend. I need brakes on the car so I can move it off the driveway and into the garage. When using the factory pin for the brake pedal extension rod it doesn't seem to fit through the assembly. Is this normal? I was thinking of drilling the whole slightly bigger with a dremil incase overspray from the paint is keeping the pin from going in completely. Anyone have other ideas?

Got stuck on a previous project that I needed to complete, but the car has been sold so now I can focus my attention back here. I was going to start with the suspension but came across a complete LS3/6L80E combo with ECU, wiring, and DBW pedal with only 21k miles on it. My plans for the car are the following

      LS3 416 N/A around 625-650 rwhp T56 Super Magnum transmission
ridetech Level 2 Kit with tru-turn and muscle bar
DSE minitub with narrowed 9" rear
      Wilwood disc brakes
