      Thread approvals?

I've made a couple posts and keep getting the message that a moderator will have to approve before it will appear. Then I never hear anything and my posts don't show up. Is this like a trial period or something? It kinda makes me want to not even bother posting on here if I have to make a thread each time my posts don't show up.

No, it was in the suspension forum.

You are new here and some times the server picks up on something and flags a post. I have released them.

      Larry,

I don't see the "post new thread" button. I'd like to show my build. Do I first need to be given permission?

      Thanks

You don't see it just above the forum on the far left?

Are you logged in? Have you checked the remember me box?

I received the same popup when I tried to help in the body and paint forum.

I still can't find anything to click on. Again, I'm trying to start a build thread. Thanks!

Still getting the "needs mod approval" to post in my build thread, or any other thread. Very frustrating.

It looks to be that you have a low post count and you're posting lots of pictures - it holds those in "moderating needed" so that we can verify that you're not a spammer.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's an easy way for us to see that there are x posts that are awaiting moderation - or at least I haven't seen one - so sometimes they slip through the cracks. I've approved the last post in your build thread, and I suspect that things will get better as you get more posts in.

I just found a setting to change in the Spam-O-Matic that may clear this up. It was watching everyone for the first 10 posts. It's not an automatic thing that everyone new gets flagged. It's only certain content.

Anyway, I lowered the number to 5. Lets see if that solves the problem.
